This page is waiting for a first release
When RosRunner is published, each release will get an entry here: the version, the date it was released, what changed, and anything you should know before updating.
Those entries will come from the published release itself. Internal development notes are not the same thing as release notes, and work that is still unreleased will not be dressed up as a shipped version.

How updating will work
The installer build checks for updates and can download and apply them itself. The portable build reports that a newer version exists and opens the download page, but does not replace itself.
An update that fails does not affect the version already installed, and does not leave the application unable to start. Cancelling a download discards it — there is no pause and no resume, and the application says so rather than offering a button that cannot deliver.
